Mary Anning

Class 3C's assembly started with some tongue twisters. one of which, 'She sells sea shells on the sea shore', we discovered referred to Mary Anning. Mary spent a lot of time on the sea shore digging up what her father called 'curiosities' which we now know as fossils. The class dramatised the events in her life which were detailed in the book 'Stone Girl'. They ended their assembly with a song about paleontologists, people who study fossils.
Well done 3C!
