Goodbye...

It was a sad and happy time in assembly today when we said Goodbye to Mrs Blyth. We saw pictures from some of her years at Deansfield where she started as a class teacher. For some years Mrs Blyth was the maths co-ordinator and then took on the role of deputy head before becoming head of School.
After twenty four years at Deansfield, Mrs Blyth has taken early retirement. We will miss her on the gate in the morning, taking assemblies and organising the day to day activities of the school, and the care which she has always shown to pupils, families and staff. We thank her for the huge contribution she has made to Deansfield and we all wish her good luck and a long and happy retirement.
