Mr Moore showed Mr Allwood some of the music provision at Deansfield. He saw a Chamber Choir rehearsal and gave the choir some tips to improve their singing. Later he observed a Year 4 class music lesson.
After his visit he Tweeted his impression of the school:

"Today I visited an extraordinary primary school. David Moore has been music teacher @Deansfieldsch ool for the last 18 years. The degree of engagement, excitement and musicianship of the children was wonderful. It would be so good if every school could aspire to this."
