Previously, we advised that MyMaths which is used at Deansfield to support our maths curriculum could only be accessed on tablets using the app Puffin Academy because of the content which required Adobe Flash Player.

Puffin Academy has now been withdrawn from the App store but MyMaths aim to make  their software accessible via tablets, and are working to move away from Flash based content.

They state:

"Due to the bespoke nature and volume of this content, these changes will be ongoing throughout the next year.

As of July 2019, all homework activities on MyMaths have been converted and over 1,500 pieces of content are now available, without the need for Flash, on a tablet. In the meantime for the most seamless experience we recommend using MyMaths using a desktop PC or laptop."

Pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 who are set homework on MyMaths should therefore be able to complete their work on tablets but may not be able to access some of the games until they have been updated. They can, of course, access all MyMaths on a PC or laptop.

Pupils have been given their login details.

If you have any problems with MyMaths, please let your class teacher know.
