DPA - Welcome Page

The Deansfield Parents Association helps to raise funds for the benefit of all children at the school. Anyone with a child at the school can get involved and we really appreciate any help that you can give. Throughout the year we will be running events and activities for children and adults. We hope that you can help out with event planning, crafts, games, baking and much more and also have fun and get to know the school and other parents better, whilst doing so.

Money raised 2017/18 £7,540

Events: £6,123
Cake Sales: £1,417

Over £6,000, the amazing total raised from events will be donated to the school. We will publish news of the way it has been spent soon.
Each month one year group gets the opportunity to run a cake sale on a Friday after school. Parents from that year group sell the cakes and all money raised goes directly to their class teachers for their classes. This is hugely beneficial to the teachers and children. Last year, the year 4 classes both received a tall stack of new books. Year 2 children all had ice creams and buckets and spades on their trip to the seaside. Year 1 had mini beast equipment and butterfly enclosures and were able to watch their butterflies transform. Reception teachers bought small world farm and train set toys for the children to play with. We hope that we can do the same this year for our teachers and children. Thank you for baking and buying cakes.
