Computer Science Week

Dear Parents and Carers,

We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our children choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works. That is why we want to celebrate all things Computer Science on the week beginning 14th June.

During this week, the children will take part in different coding and programming activities, whilst learning about famous computer scientists that have changed, and are changing the world.

This is all in aid of sparking enthusiasm around computing in the build up to our new Digital Hub! We cannot wait for the children to start using this space to exercise their creativity, explore the world of technology and to learn more about coding.

At the end of this Computer Science week, we are encouraging the children to come dressed up on Friday 18th June. The children can dress up in anything linked to computer Science Click here for ideas.
We would be grateful if the children could pay £2 via SIMs pay towards dressing up and watching the Friday movie.
All donations will go to further enhancing the Digital Hub. We look forward to seeing all the children dressed up and exploring the world of computer science!

Thank you for your continued support,
