Anti-bullying week

Anti-Bullying Week is an annual UK event started on 2002. It is held in the third week in November and aims to raise awareness of bullying of children and young people, in schools and elsewhere, and to highlight ways of preventing and responding to it.
Odd Socks Day takes place on the first day of Anti Bullying Week each year and staff and pupils were enthusiatic this week, wearing a huge array of different socks, to celebrate that everyone is unique and we should accept people whatever their differences.
Alongside the colourful socks, the week started with assemblies promoting the theme for this year's Anti-Bullying Week, One Kind Word.
The children watched the One Kind Word video produced by the Anti-Bullying Alliance which had a positive message about spreading kindness.
